Anna Kakhiani

Anna Kakhiani, originally from Kyiv, relocated to the Netherlands shortly after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. A visual artist and curator, Anna works with a range of media, including video, film, text, installations, performance, and land art. During her few years in the Netherlands, she has developed art projects and installations, often collaborating with artist groups, cultural organizations, and artistic initiatives. Kakhiani's artistic practice delves into the complexities of human emotions and sensibilities through diverse media. Her work explores themes of psychological states, memory, shifting perceptions of public and private spaces, and the concept of safety.
