Olga Tykhonova

Olga Tykhonova was born in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region and has lived in Luhansk for a long time. In 2014, the first Russian invasion forced the family of Olga Tykhonova to move to Kyiv. She got acquainted with the wool felting technique and started creating designer clothes made of wool. In 2022, she was forced to leave again because of the full-scale invasion and came to Amsterdam. Their collaborative process with Barro Donker offers both artists a profound space for emotional expression and artistic exploration. The resulting body of work is a testament to their creative synergy.
