Ties of Aid

The artworks presented here, "The Ties of Aid," emerged from Yuliia's firsthand experience at a humanitarian aid collection center. While sorting clothing donated by people, she noticed a surprising abundance of neckties, an item of little practical use for those impacted by the recent conflict in Ukraine. Yuliia collected the ties and used them to create two art pieces.
In the first piece, the ties take the shape of a plane, resembling the F-16 fighter aircraft, a symbol of international aid efforts in Ukraine. The second piece depicts a scene in the humanitarian center.
